Macaroon Shindig is a seven year-old print zine (perzine) written and published "as often as necessary" by full-time college student Katherine M. Hill. Since its introduction to the world in September 2000, MS has toured with Warped Tour's zine booth (2002-2003), delved into a wide range of features, and attended zine symposiums. More than 50 issues have been published, and the numbering system was re-set in January 2005. While the zine has changed dramatically over the years in appearance and content, the message and style remain the same.

New Feature! (07.25.09)

My interview with BrokeNCYDE is in the features section. As a reminder, articles still open in a new window.

Small Updates (07.09.09)

In addition to updating small kinks throughout the website, there are new articles in the archives and features coming soon.

UPDATE ON STUFF (03.14.09)

My apologies for neglecting the website. The Etsy store is currently empty, but I have been [sporadically] updating the blog. I updated the status of the zine within the blog. In short: I'm still here, just working slowly! I'm working on a zine about the accident I was in, working on the end of My Life as a Teen Movie, and working on a daily project featuring one woman a day for Women's History Month (see the March tag on the blog!)

New Content!
In addition to weekly content on the Winsome Icarus [Blog], there's a new article! It's about faith. Sort of. Not really.

Issue #6
The new issue is finished! Two articles are in the features section, a web version is available for download (macaroonshindig.com/MS6.pdf), and print copies will be available in the Etsy shop soon. There will be a limited run of this issue in efforts to lessen my enviornomental impact and as the result of limited financial funds (three cheers for collegiate studies!) This issue includes interviews with Olympia, Anberlin, and the Graduate. (01.05.08)
